What it is
The Outreach service is part of the Information service and aims to reach as many communities as possible in Bedford, Luton and Bedfordshire. It particularly concentrates on those living in rural areas, those from minority ethnic groups and those who may have extra difficulties and needs.
The service visits groups, clubs, health centres, village halls, supermarkets and health professionals to promote the work of the DRC and provide information and help on any disability related matters.
The aim of this service is to reach people of all ages, with any disability or health difficulties, both long and short term, helping them to access services and to find the information they need.
Please pass on information about these outreach events to your friends and neighbours.
